1st day at PL...

Ytd 1st day at PL.. met sarah at novena mrt stn. cos she nid show mi e way in, cos cant use e main entrance. sarah taught mi alot.. but i abit short-term memory de, cant rmb 100%. still gt all e shoutouts in jap de, mak mi blur. cos my jap is CMI de.. but still mus learn de la..peak hrs damned busy.. mus serve v quickly n clear v quickly. i rmb gt 1 customer v...ahem.. she called mi to go collect her order 1st, don care abt e other customers. but e prob is... her order even nt ready yet,cos edwin haven mak her order wad. nid to queue up for orders de mah.. but she don bother wad i said, den still folo mi to e counter. luckily e meal was jus ok liao when we jus reached e counter or i duno wad she'll say or do wad lor..n haha.. gt uncle ji customer duno hw to cook ask mi cook his steak. i stupid stupid go use chopsticks n spoon to cook. aft tt sarah told mi jus use e spoon to cook oni. at least nw i still rmb la.. n.. guess wad..? in e aftnoon, Darren, e superstar champion came to PL for lunch. wif a lady.. ermm duno is jus fren or gf la.. shld be oni fren bah, cos if gf, will pay for her wad, rite..? n he n his fren were searching for a suitable seat, den i c him blur blur luk den tell him there r mre seats over dere.. he gif mi a blur blur luk agn.. hahas.. tts cute.. nearly closing tym, i nid to do cleaning. sarah taught mi alot too. den she hlp out. in e end she can go at 10pm but she stayed to hlp. lk bout 11pm den we go home. a v nice fren she is.. n duno which guy...isit edwin..?? called mi a carrot... sarah... i knw u knw hu said mi rite..?? beta tell mi, cos i don reali can recognise e voice.. either jianhao or edwin rite..? tt edwin lk to gen sarah "dou mouth" de l or.. so funny... n tt edwin kp saying us nv clean properly n lk as if he's e boss wor.. hahas... no wonder senior class wad... emm cleaning agn mus clear n do properly, ltr he says mi agn..den e door hor, wahsae reali v heavy, cant imagine sarah gt to do it last tym. mus gt use to it oso lor..hai.. whole body"sour" today le...

Has been thinking...

My cousins went to UK to wk as waiters n waitresses for a few yrs liao le. Dint gt to c them for these few yrs. At 1st, I tot being waitress was fun, cos they were able to wk dere for so long. Neverless, juz 1 experience for me n I tink it SXXXs… Maybe its e colleagues prob bah, e wk weightage shld be bout e same de bah. My cousins told me they were able to collect tip fr their customers when e customers feel lk tipping them. But wking in tis restaurant, I guess receiving tips fr customers was nt allowed. Basically, I dint even c any customers willing to gif tips. So I guess even if there is no such rule such as: “no collection of tip”, we oso will nt be collecting them. Even if some customers were willing to gif, I guess wont be tt many ppl too. My tang jie said when as a waitress in UK, she can collect tip as much as 50 sg dollars each tym. Guess how generous Eurasians are… even tho they hab to gif out e tip aft each day to divide equally among colleagues, but I guess tt wld be gd 2,cos u gt to share ur happiness n luck wif colleagues. Juz lk有福同享, 有难同当.


So even if I want to be waitress nx tym, I’ll rather go 2 UK dere to wk.除非,there’s a v gd boss or manager to wk wif here in sg, n I might consider. Hahax…Still say nx tym new yr they’ll ask us go back to wk. lk tt I cant go back msia for reunion lor..? wan mi so 拼命for them ya..? wait long long ya.. if they deserve it, I don mind. But their attitude SXXXs too, I so gd-temper oso cant stand it. Appear so gd service to customers, but so no basic manner n attitude to newbie. Juz wk 1 day den cant stand them liao lor.. oni juz 4 hrs a day… still wad sxxx country club…Luckily sec 4 graduation prom nite nt go dere celebrate ar.. Ermm.. act some customers c tt u r young, can guess out u r new dere, will oso kind of “bully” u oso. But since they knw tt we r new, of cos they muz体谅wad. Summon tt day (mooncake festival) is our 1st day lehz.. they come try lor…要求多多is ok lah, cos customer is always rite.. Even those kind of 招ask u take pen n paper for them they oso can tink up of. Desserts gif plates, wan bowls... ok, take for u, gif u both plates n bowls lor, 反正im not e dishwashers oso. But at nite when we left at 10pm, they still gt a lot of dishes to clear up lor, duno hab to clear up till wad tym…So quite pitiful de lor… Anw,don tink I’ll 为them卖命till lk tt,n 更不会为了they人手不足,而sacrifice my 1 yr 1 time new yr reunion wif my whole family. Summo they oni nt enuf ppl den wan us, 还不是当us as stand-bys.要不是they tt day mooncake festival short-handed, will call us go meg..? summo still gt to wait for 2, 3 wks den start wk. duno waste how much of our precious time…要不是yp’s mum fren intro de, I den quit le, its juz tt don 1 make her 难做人.

A big nasty blister!!!

Ytd was a real tiring day. I went to woodlands causeway pt de Samsung service centre cos its lk my phone sot liao le.. but in the end I reach dere, e prob lk disappear le, so weird lor.. aft tt, I gt to rush to novena pepperlunch for interview. Sarah’s colleague said he’ll call me today. Emm.. oso haven buy my belt n shoes yet lehz. It was bout 5pm when I left the shop. I was late for meeting wif yp at amk. When I rush dere, it was already bout 5.20pm le. So she said we rush a cab dere. 7.10 bucks leh, cos of peak hr. but e uncle chargd mi 7.20 so e uncle cheat me 10 sen, hahax.. 说好一人出一半的, but duno she no enuf mani or wad, so I gt to pay 1st lor.. But 一人一半, oso oni 3.50 per person, she don hab meg..? So I guess she don return mi I hab to pay e whole sum le lor.. I nw oso v por liao lor, where gt extra mani for charity de..? haiz..

aft tt we reached SICC, we were shocked to find out we gt to dress up as skirts not pants, but we dint knw n went dere in pants. Last tym interview still said workwear provided, but oni gt top provided, den its nt the rite size de lor, abit too oversize le lor.. so tis is hw they treat part-timers..? Esp we r still students. Summo they were nt reali friendly at 1st, sort of lk humiliating us. 1st day wk den gt to c their 脸色..? Siao…But aft tt, still abit better la.. But mostly seems v “dao”.. Esp those waiters, waitresses.. Maybe their rank higher than those wkin in the kitchen de bah, cos e manager n vice manager oso help out as waiters mah.. but hor, the kitchen ppl, those chefs hor, oso luk at us guai guai one, lk don reali welcome us lk tt. But gt 1 waiter call J de, ok lah. Cos he taught me n yp alot of things, even tho he 讽刺us at 1st by saying hw cum we wear pants de, den e other waitress said we “special” mah. The manager still ok lah, sumtym will oso nag at me (J n A oso la, lolx) but e worst is the V, the vice manager. So vain lk tt. Got customers wan tea, he asked mi brew, but tok so soft, lk bo chap one, so I oso bo chap lor cos I cant hear wad tea he want me to brew. So I pretended nt to hear den aft tt I tink he called A to brew, n she came to say me, hw cum I dint brewe tea which V called me to, but I dint ans her lah, I den heck care lah.. Is he gif attitude 1st de leh, duno hw to respect den 1 ppl respect him..? 门都没有呀!!!

Once we were having dinner, so we went to scoop our rice, den e kitchen way abit narrow mah, den I heard a guy voice saying:” 走开啦!” Walao, so no manner de. But I dint dare turn to luk who’s sayin tt, sekali kana scold agn.. But some still quite gd lah. My shoes nt 合格, gt 1 colleague lend me her new shoes, although it’s a bit big even aft I put in my shoe padding.

The waitress,A, hu is in charge of me n e area we r lookin out for de, quite gd oso lah even tho she said, I oni knw hokkien (of cos la, I hokkien ppl wad), duno other languages (besides eng n chinese) ar, lk for example: Cantonese. (Hu wld go learn Cantonese for..? esp im nt Cantonese oso mah) Cos I short- term memory lor.. She teach me fold e lappy cloth into lk a “fan” shape, den I kp fold wrong direction or nt tt nice. So she kp showing mi n said it was easy de la. We juz 1st day of cos seems difficult de mah.

Den we nid to serve dishes, clear away dirty plates for customers at time n replacing them wif clean ones, oso refilling glasses, teacups n teapots. Serve them extra sauces when they ask for more, memorizing the table no. , clearing away the dirty stuffs on the table when the customers left, replacing the table with new sets of utensils etc. N muz luk v neat n e direction n position muz be v accurate n precise. WTF… ermm… n so suay, I was kinda scalded when I nid to kp pouring the reali hot tea from the teapot for customers. Of cos nt those kind I pour onto my hands, im nt tt stupid de lah. Its tt they hab a way to pour e tea w/o “scorching” their fingers by using oni their thumb placed at e handle. But it was too heavy for me, imagine a heavy teapot fully filled with hot hot tea. So in the end I gt to suffer my finger instead of being suffered later by being complained by customers rite..? aft wk, a lady, colleague oso la, but I don rmb her face le, she gave us a mooncake said for us to eat de. So sweet… hahax.. but oso duno isit no one wan to eat de leftover lor.. hahax... ermm.. reach home at nearly 11 pm le.. So tired lor.. It was quite a tough job, frankly speaking. With oni wkend an hr of 8 bucks is more worth it. But during wkdays oni bout 5, 6 bucks nt worth it to suffer lor.. N last time I wk at CK, e colleagues there was even better, nicer n friendlier lor.. My ex supervisor oso v nice ppl lor, mayb is bcos we r fr e same country bah, cos she oso JB ppl. Haiz…

All tt carrying of stupid stuff makes me 腰酸背痛lor.. n oso my finger gt to suffer. Mayb tis wkend nid to go back wk agn, duno hw. Pepperlunch dere n SICC dere.. Schedule too tight.. Go where wk..? I was thinking I go to wk at PL till abt 3 pm den I rush home gt changed n tidy up myself. Aft tt den rush for SICC job. Duno lah, scare PL dere don allow mi anyhw change shift. So dao shi den c 1st lor.. N Sarah oni wk till end of tis wk.. So fast.. I guess I gt to learn hw to quickly adapt n interact with my fellow colleagues le.

Haiz.. Results release today. Juz woke up in e morn den receive an sms abt my results.. Walao, jialat lehz.. NO A!!! All B,C n D kind de leh.. Duno y lk bcum mre n mre stupid le.. Last tym grade lk quite gd.. Nw hor.. Haiz... Don even knw wad happen to mi.. My intelligence captured by aliens..?? Mayb... hahax.. But luckily lah, still gt pass my biz software, coz tt was my worst nightmare.. hahax.. But reali hope i can do better for nx sem..

Gals out dere, BEWARE!!!

I came across some job classifies on frenster. There were some classifies put up for part tym or student vacation jobs de. But it ended up 2 of them were jobs recruiting gals or students to be their "sugar babes". Thay did nt state wad kind of job they were at 1st. They juz wanna u to contact them thru email 1st or sth. So it was wise nt to gif strangers ur contact 1st ok, if they ask for it.


If the curiosity could kill a cat, i bet it will kinda kill u 2.. Emm.. esp when u heard they r offering a v gd price for e job. 2 flexible hrs a day? 40 bucks an hr?? (one of them stated) Sure sounds attractive... But gals DON be taken in!! Thay thot tt we students gals r STUPID, tt is y they r aiming for us. DON gif them a chance!! Emm another one was even worse!! He kinda wanna u to send him ur pic, wanna knw mre abt ur wt n ht.. It juz don sounds so rite, correct?? They tot they r handling n bluffing little kids when they told u, u'll juz nid to go shopping wif them, they'll buy u wad u want... Emm.. mayb they'll do tt but they might wan u to commit to another task (if u knw wad i mean), whether by enticing u wif other incentives..?? I duno.. but 1 thing is certain. If a job other than modelling, requires u to hab wad e model hab as 具备条件,emm..tt is certainly worth to be cautious abt.. im nt 夸大 or sth. But i bet anyone will wanna be safe than sorry rite..?

今天call n msg Vynn again. 那天叫他call 我转告我说拜二开工.但我只做part-time他们会要meg..?告诉他帮我问,我想他应该是忘了.要不拜五到拜一都没消息.所以我才打去催他的,要不我哪懂拜二是否要去开工吗..我才不想白跑一趟呢!!虽说只要一趟straight bus,但算一算也要大概十个站左右呀.还是不要冒这种耗时又浪费钱的险吧!想想,12hrs shift真的是有点辛苦咧..要一直面对电脑跟做paperwork的,不懂ok吗..?就等他今晚call我吧,也不懂结果如何.真想回去muar喔!!那里值得留恋的事情太多太多了..

大件事to share with 大家.相信有些人有碰到这件事了吧!! Tt day heard from e radio FM tt S.L was down dere at Orchard Rd, 招生意 for gals who wanna or wish to be models. Or I guess “forcing” them to become one by asking them to fill up e application form or sth. (虽我不在现场做报道)

There was this young lady, I guess she filled up e form coz she 很想快快摆脱他的纠缠. But I tink tts hw he was able to gt her number n contacted her. Of cos e lady knew tt it was S calling her n she dint dare to ans e call. (maybe hes reali tt scary.. hu knws??) But he 死死kp calling her several tyms, so in e end, she asked her fren for hlp. Her fren ans e call n scolded rite into e phone: “stop disturbing my fren can or nt..? she’s nt interested to join ur model agency lah!”( She said sth lk tt la..) Den tt person finally send a msg telling e gal nt to be so unreasonable n blah blah blah….. Emm actually e lady shouldn’t put down her real number de lehz, 免得kana骚扰咯..

But actually hus e 1不讲道理de..? When u found someone hu is unwilling to ans ur call, tis means tt tt person has e intention to avoid u wad, cant he gt it..? Emm..
